Mumbai: FIR Lodged Against One Toufeek Ahmad For Raping Dog, Act Caught On CCTV

Days after one Ahmed Shahi had been caught raping 30 dogs in Mumbai, yet another horrific case of animal cruelty has come to light from the city.

An FIR has been lodged against one Toufeek Ahmad for allegedly having “unnatural sex” with a dog. His act was caught on CCTV cameras. The crime occurred in the Kalina area of Santacruz, and the FIR has been lodged at the Vakola Police station.

“I have lodged the FIR at Vakola police station against the accused man identified as Toufeek Ahmad,” the chairperson of Animal Rescue And Care Trust (ARAC), Savita Mahajan, told TOI. “We have also submitted all the electronic evidence, including the CCTV footage of the crime which took place recently. We thank assistant commissioner of police, Sudhir Kudalkar, and Police Inspector Mithun Patil for cooperating in this case for lodging the FIR.” Mahajan added that the sexual abuse of a female dog named Cheeno was discovered recently when CCTV cameras were installed at the site where private cars are parked in order to prevent thefts of car parts.

The accused, Toufeek Ahmad, is in his early twenties and sold bread in the locality. “In the CCTV video he is clearly seen raping the dog, which is bestiality. After the FIR was lodged this week, the Valoka police went to his local address to nab him. However, he has reportedly left for his native place in Uttar Pradesh. We request the police to arrest him soon,” said Mahajan. Vakola police informed that the FIR against Ahmad has been lodged under IPC section 377 for unnatural sex. Further inquiry is on.

This horrific case of dog-rape comes days after another Mumbai man, Ahmed Shahi, had allegedly raped 30 dogs in his locality. His act, too had been caught on CCTV cameras. After the video of him raping a dog had gone viral, #SorrySheru had trended on social media. Sheru was one of the dogs Ahmed Shahi had reportedly raped.
